About Them: The founder of Pley. As parents, we want our kids to spend less time in front of digital screens and more time enriching their creativity and minds with LEGO play. After spending thousands of dollars acquiring new LEGO toys, I’ve realized there is a better way to play without breaking the bank – we invented Pley. Leveraging the sharing economy, Pley makes it possible for families to save as much as 70% on toys that tend to be short-lived, eliminates clutter while reducing waste.Pley is a monthly box for toddlers, kids, tweens, and teens in mind. They send you a box every month, you can keep it however long, then return it when done.
We were sent one the girls version, even though we said boy to the company. Though my 5-year-old and I had fun building this set. Took us about 2 hours to do following the book it comes with. There are tons of small pieces so you will need to supervise if you have little ones who mouth everything. I like the idea of getting a Lego set every month, and creating the book one, or creating your own style. The amount you pay a month, is well worth the payment with the set you get every month. When your done, you throw it in the provided zipper bag, and slap the return label (they provide) and send it off. Then just wait for your next package to arrive. Pretty simple, easy to do, keeps your kids busy, and lastly even adults can have fun as well. When it comes to Lego‘s there is no age limit!
