For you, when the baby starts to move, cry or talk your hand-held piece will light up automatically for you which is a bonus. This hand-held piece will run for hours or days if you remember to turn it off when your done. You can use plug-in or even the battery part (recommend the rechargeable ones) for whatever seeks you. For a $219 dollar baby monitor and since there isn’t much there it’s totally worth the price. It kinda works with no lights on, night-light helps if you use the wall mount idea. The sounds are pretty clear, and the screen rarely lags as well.
