I had the amazing pleasure of receiving a Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD combo pack of Disney Pete’s Dragon for review. It has a feature running time of 103 minutes and is rated PG. I honestly did not think I would like this as much as the original Pete’s Dragon but Disney really outdid themselves with this one! It is absolutely fantastic and I have already watched it several times myself since receiving it. I LOVE this movie! Pete’s family is killed in an accident and he is left to fend for himself in the woods. Grace, a forest ranger and Natalie, a young girl find him in the woods several years later. He is taken into town where he tells them about Elliot, his dragon friend and no one believes that he survived on his own for so many years, let alone with a magical dragon. Again, I can not explain how pleased I am with this movie! It is a truly magical movie about the importance of family and thinking outside the box. The bonus extras are fantastic as well! They are on the blu-ray disk and include bloopers, music videos, making magic and much more! If you are a fan of the original Pete’s Dragon then you will adore this new one! Even if you didn’t like the first one I highly recommend seeing this one! It is awesome and I can not rave enough about it! You can bring home your copy on November 29th!
