I had the pleasure of receiving a couple pet CheckUp Kits for review. The first was a CheckUp at home wellness test for dogs. This kit came with a telescopic pole, a detachable metal ring to hold large, disposable cups, a sample collection pipettte, a sample collection vial to hold a small urine sample, and two testing strips to dip into the urine samples. This kit is awesome because it can detect a lot of issues within dogs. Some of these issues it can detect are High Glucose Levels, Kidney Failure, Urinary Track Infections and Blood in the Urine. This not only can help detect these health conditions so you can treat them before they become a serious health issue but it is great for dogs that are prone to these things as well so you and your vet can monitor your dogs health closely. My mastiff is getting old and with age comes more health issues and this kit was a blessing when I thought he had a UTI. I was able to test at home before taking him in and spending hundreds of dollars at the vet. I took the test in with me to my vet and they were able to treat him without running a bunch of unnecessary tests. The CheckUp at home wellness test for cats was just as nice! It tests for the same problems as the dog kit but comes with different stuff. It comes with a 2 lb bag of sand for the litter box, a sample collection pipette, a sample collection vial for the urine sample and two diagnostic testing strips to check the urine. I have a couple rescue kittens and one just hasn’t been healthy since I rescued him. He is constantly getting blockages despite him being on the best prescribed specialty food from the veterinarian. I used this CheckUp kit on him and it said he had Kidney Failure so I took him into the vet and sure enough, the vet had missed it! He is now on treatments and much healthier all because this kit caught something my vet overlooked. These are both great kits and I highly recommend them for your pets. This can truly save their life!
