My kids and I are huge fans of Peaceable Kingdom and all they have to offer. We absolutely adore all their cooperative games and my kids have really gotten so much out of them! One of the ones we just had the opportunity to try out and review is Sunny and Stormy Day! This is a cooperative game that comes with a full color picture book, 24 game tiles, a game puzzle, instructions and a heart pouch with 3 sharing tokens. This is an awesome game that is great for the whole family and best for ages 3 and up, although my year and a half old son really enjoys it as well! The whole point of this game is to encourage your family to share more among each other. You each take turns sharing something from your day and how it made you feel. There is a super cute book that goes along with the game. Max the hedgehog goes through the book experiencing good “sunny” parts of his day and not so good or “stormy” parts of his day. My kids all love this book and have had me read it to them a dozen times or more. My room mates girls both love it as well. The game goes hand in hand with the book. You match sunny and stormy parts from the book before the moon comes out and the day is over. It is super fun and a great way to work on the communication skills as a family. The three tokens are also a great way to express your good and bad parts of the day as a family. My kids love sharing about their day now and love playing this game every single day. It has really helped them learn to express their thoughts and feelings in a positive way. If you are looking for a great game for your family then this one is the one for you!
