20151214_161454-1(1)My kids and I had the pleasure of receiving a couple of Peaceable Kingdoms wonderful cooperative games to review. The first one we received was Buzz. It is geared for ages 5 and up and for 2 to 4 players. The main goal of this game is for all the players to gather all 6 of their nectar drops, place them in their nectar baskets and race to the hive before the bear reaches it. This game is not only super cute, but as a parent I love how it teaches kids to work together to accomplish a task instead of against each other in a competition. The players all win together or they lose together as a team. My girls absolutely loved this game. Each game took them approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete and even my 3 year old had a blast joining in on the fun. It kept them both engaged and entertained, while teaching them important team work and cooperative play. I loved watching the excitement on their faces when the bear got close to them and loved it even more when they completed the game together. The pure joy and satisfaction on their faces made this game all that much special and enjoyable for the whole family.

20160105_190937-1The second Peaceable Kingdom game we received to review was The Great Cheese Chase. It is also geared for ages 5 and up and for 2 to 6 players. The object of this game is for players to work together to beat the cat to the attic for the great chunk of cheese. My girls loved this game as well. They are naturally competitive at everything and anything so it was wonderful seeing them work together instead of against each other. They loved using the spinner and all the cute pieces. This game took between 20-25 minutes per game because they had to keep stopping to show me how cute the cat and mice were. Every time the cat catches a mouse, it is sent back to the beginning. The girls used problem solving and teamwork to make sure all three of the mice made it to the attic over and over again. I highly recommend these cooperative games for young children. These games are not only fun to play but also help kids build confidence and they teach younger kids the importance of sharing and teamwork! I personally look forward to trying other games from Peaceable Kingdom!

Disclosure: I received products for free, in exchange for an honest review, which may differ from yours. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I used personally, and believe will be a good fit for consumers.
