All three of my kids love PBS Kids. There really hasn’t been a show on that they don’t enjoy. I love that they are entertaining for my kids and educational as well. We received a couple new DVDs to watch and review and my kids could not have been happier with them. The first was Wild Kratts: Madagascar Madness! It has a feature running time of 105 minutes and has 4 action packed adventures. These include Lemur Legs, Mini Madagascar, Lemur Stink Fight and Fossa Palooza. The Kratt brothers are always going on adventures to save animals and this one is awesome because they head to Madagascar for the first time. In these four episodes it teaches kids about lemurs and their habitat. Chris and Martin learn about the clinging abilities and leaping abilities of these lemurs. They learn all about Madagascar too. My kids have already watched this DVD about 10 times and can not get enough of it! Its a great one for the collection! The next DVD we received was WordWorld: Let’s Eat! This one has 8 stories that span out over 100 minutes. These stories include J-J-Jelly, Get Well Soon Soup, Catch That C!, The Mystery of the Disappearing Pie, Pies, Pies, Pies!, Pig’s Big Moonlight Feast, Mmm-mmm-milk!, and A String’s the Thing. My kids are hooked on the Word World show and I absolutely LOVE that it teaches them words, reading, phonics and more! My two year old went crazy for the Get Well Soon Soup episode because Ant is sick and Pig makes him this soup to make him well and it includes all the letters of the alphabet. He is learning the alphabet so he was in heaven with this episode! There are so many adventures and my kids love them all! This DVD is a great way for beginner readers to advance their letter and vocabulary skills! They love using their problem solving skills to work out the situations that come with this show! Its a great one and I highly recommend it! These are both out on DVD so get your kids their copies today!
