About Them: Starting with something as simple as a box, OtterBox was created in 1998 and built upon fundamentals of hard work, creativity and perseverance. Our cases are dedicated to all the klutzy, spontaneous, chaotic, graceless individuals who have broken a device or valuable due to their active lifestyle and like our customers, we’ve been there too!Otterbox is like the best phone case cover you can get, that will protect your phone, from most damage. They sell wide variety of colors and designs, for all kinds of phones.
There is two parts of this Otterbox set, the blue part which locks into the phone, then the pink rubber piece for the outside. The blue/teal part is plastic with locking pieces that hold the phone in place, which is easy to put on, and take off. You can use it, as is, but looks prettier with the rubber cover. There is locking pieces all throughout the sides and top, leaving open area’s for the charger, speaker, button, and so forth. This is used on my new iPhone 6+ the case itself is pretty light, but does add weight once the cover is on.
Here you see the pink rubber that’s added around the teal case, just slides on, then push it into the grooves around the phone, and in back around the logo and you’re set. All together it adds a good amount of weight and protection to the phone all around the edges, and the back of the phone, giving me security its being protected. The screen area comes with a plastic covering, but I took it off, to fit the glass screen protector on it, when I bought the phone. It’s a nice case and they offer a ton of options for what you need, want for your phone. I got the Defender series case option with both pieces, minus the clip.
