Only 30 percent of pets in homes come from shelters and rescue organizations. An estimated 2.7 million healthy pets remain in shelters each year! Hopefully, the ResCUTE book and stuffed animal series will foster the development of empathic and proactive young citizens who will be responsible to their surroundings and others less fortunate.

OPERATION ResCUTE is a very adorable story line. This book talks about a stray dog that wonders the city day and night. Then the pound comes along and takes him to the shelter, for him to be adopted out. This very sweet older woman adopts him, and takes him to her home, where the family and kids enjoy their new dog. The package comes with a box that the dog and book come in, along with some stickers as well. This is a great reading material for your kids, lots of teaching in the book, along with how to take care of pets. I know a few people in my life who take in rescute dogs, and raise them tell they pass away. Dogs are people too, don’t leave them behind. The dog is a very nice plush doggy, that is fun to play with, sleep with, and cuddle when your kids are sick. I just love the whole dog and book in the box, totally like when you take a pet home from in a crate.
