I am a little behind on my updates and I apologize. During week 4 the flu raged through our house so I was not online much and quite frankly wasn’t eating hardly anything. So fast forward to when the flu left our home! Week 5 was much more of a victory being on a regular eating schedule again and not having 3 sick kids to care for. I lost 3 more pounds so am down to 222. I obviously see the difference on the scale and its always encouraging to see those numbers go down instead of up but am finally starting to see the difference in the way I look too. My arms and face are thinning out and thats where I notice it the most. I don’t notice my stomach being any smaller, but I do feel a difference in how my shirts are fitting so that is a bonus. I have been trying some new veggie stir fry dishes to go along the side of my nutrisystem meals and have found a lot of different ways to eat them. My kids are loving having more fruits and veggies in the house and have been requesting them more instead of the junk so we are slowly getting rid of all the unhealthy foods in our home. They have been drinking more water too which makes me happy. I lead a very busy lifestyle and just love that the meals are all prepackaged. This has made the on the go life so much easier and has allowed me to stick to it even when we are traveling. So far I have loved all the food and have not had any disappointments and this has also helped stay on track! Excited to continue onto week six and see what both the on and off scale victories look like!
