During week 6 I lost another pound so am down to 221 pounds. That is great motivation to keep at it. I honestly would love to be losing more but being on a higher calorie program because I am nursing my son the recommended is 1 pound a week and I have been staying steady at that. As long as the numbers are going down, I am happy. I am actually loving eating more frequently and smaller portions so that has not been a struggle at all. I am eating way more greens and salads and just loving them. I actually have more energy and overall just feel better about myself and healthier eating habits. I am even more active than I had been which has been great. The weather has been one of my main challenges with staying active because it has been cold, wet and stormy and I just want to bunker down in the house and stay put. I have been trying to stay active but this week has been pretty challenging in that respect. As far as food challenges. Halloween Candy has been a challenge. I love chocolate and my girls got a lot of it on Halloween! I have been using the snacks that are sweeter to curb these cravings and they seem to be working. I have had a couple pieces of candy but before I would sit and eat it all whereas now I can just have one piece and be content. I know a lot of changes aren’t showing up in my appearance just yet but I can feel my pants loser and it reflects on the scale as well which I love.
