The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature

About them: Surly Squirrel and the gang are back, returning to Liberty Park after they are forced to leave their easy life at the nut store. Getting back to nature is the last thing Surly wants to do, but when a greedy mayor decides to destroy the park to build an amusement park, Surly and his ragtag critter friends must band together to save the place they call home.

My kids and I were super excited to hear that a sequel to The Nut Job was being made and were even more excited to receive a Blu-ray, DVD and Digital copy of The Nut Job 2 to watch and review. It brings all your favorite characters from the first movie into the second for a whole new adventure. It has a feature running time of 1 hour and 32 minutes and some awesome bonus features are included. The squirrels have gotten out of their natural order by having a nut shop for all their needs. They no longer know how to forage or hunt for their food and when Surly is told he should start foraging and getting back to the squirrel routes he is less than interested. After the nut shop blows up Surly and all the gang are forced back to Liberty Park which is now being threatened to be destroyed and have an amusement park built in its place. Surly and his gang must return to their original routes and band together to save the park they call home so they can live their lives in peace. It is a fun action packed adventure and my kids and I loved every minute of it. The bonus features are pretty good too. They include Deleted Scenes, Feature Commentaries, A Concept Art Reel and Animation Progression Reels. It is a great sequel and a must have if you already own the first movie. The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature is a great movie that the whole family will love! It comes out on November 14th so preorder your copy today!
