About Them: CEO and Founder Rick Case started Nite Ize as an undergraduate at the University of Colorado in 1989. “I was on a fishing trip using the brand new mini flashlight my family gave me as a gift. I was fishing at night with it, holding it in my mouth. Sure enough, I opened my mouth, and the flashlight fell out. I was staring down into the water, watching my still lit flashlight on the bottom when an idea hit me.
Nite Ize offers a great variety of products for outdoors, indoors, driving, games, and much more. Most the products all have some sort of LED light attached to them for night-time, or going into dark places, making it easy for you to find your way. They also offer fun toys with LED in them. I picked out the LED coloring changing Frisbee for the boys. The frisbee is all clear with very thin strands with LED lights in them, making the whole thing glow all over. It also changes colors to color. This is a fun indoor or outdoor frisbee for throwing around, our basement is huge giving him tons of safe throwing. Especially fun for night-time, or in the dark room. The glowing is very strong and will glow for hours. You do have to turn it on and off. The button sits right in the middle of it, and doesn’t affect it at all. The button is pretty hard to push as my 4-year-old can’t. Great toy for all ages and even your pets.
