I have always wanted a good quality drone but never really knew where to look or what to look for. When I had the opportunity to try out a Nikko Air Race Vision 220 FPV Pro Racing Drone I was beyond excited. This Racing Drone is best for ages 14 and up and does take some practice to get used to it but once you do it is a blast! This thing comes with all the bells and whistles. It comes with your Racing Drone, FPV Goggles, a 4.3″ Screen and Advanced Controller, batteries, a usb charging cable, an sd card, an extra set of propeller blades and instructions. I do suggest doing the racing simulator game before actually taking your drone to the air. By doing the simulator game you learn how to use and control your controls before you try it out in real life. You also can compete against your friends and in DRL courses which is fun. Once you master that its best to take it slow and easy till you get the hang of having your drone in the air. It has a low, mid and high speed setting so you can work your way up. It also ha nikko mode which is for auto banking, advanced mode for stabilizing and a pro racer mode to do it all manually. The FPV Goggles are awesome and give you a detailed view of what your drone is actually seeing at any given time. It transmits the video from the drone right to your goggles. There you can save it and share it. The drone can go up to 25 miles per hour and is pretty durable. I know its pretty durable because in my excitement I originally skipped the simulator game and went right to the air and crashed many times. It held up great and that is when I decided to do the simulator first and my skill levels increased drastically. The camera view is wide which is nice too. Overall I am very impressed with this Racing Drone and can’t wait to perfect my skills even further. This would be an amazing gift this holiday season for your teen or even an adult family member and I highly recommend it!
