There are 18 nodes that massage all parts of your feet. Even works for people with size 15 shoes like my husband so that is a benefit for men with bigger feet can use this as well. Everything can be controlled by the touch of your feet, but you can use your hands to. Does come with a cord to use, so make sure you get comfortable around the outlet. We use it, and binge watches Netflix while it goes at our feet after a long day on them. This is a really nice foot massager and great addon to the house of massager we own now.
