My kids are always wanting to go to the neighbors house to play but I have never been ok with them just running around, even if it is only next door without some way to contact me. They aren’t quite old enough for cell phones either so when I had the opportunity to review the Motorola Talkabout T100 walkie talkies I was pretty stoked. I received a pretty blue set for review and to include in our Holiday Gift Guide this year and my kids and I could not be happier with them! They are compact but work so good! They have a 16 mile range so I can not only communicate with my kids when they are next door, but I can talk to them when they are at my parents house as well! I love this feature! When we aren’t using them for communications and checking in with each other, my kids have enjoyed spending hours playing with each other outside with them! They are great and have 22 channels. It did take my kids a bit to understand they have to stay on the same channel to talk to each other, but once they figured that out they were good to go. These are great for my kids to play and gives them a little more freedom since I know they can just pick up their radio and contact me. They would also be great for camping, hiking or even hunting trips where you may not have cell service. These are great and I absolutely love them! My kids love having a way to talk to me and each other which has been so nice! These are a great means of communication and they would make a great gift to your kids or other loved ones this holiday season!
