My kids and I had the pleasure of receiving a DVD copy of Monkey Up for review. This movie is about a talking Capuchin monkey named Monty. He is the face of the energy drink Monkey Up, but really has his mind set on becoming a famous movie star. When Monty pursues his dreams of becoming a movie star and the owner of Monkey Up wants him to stay the face of his energy drink, the chase is on. Monty must find his balance between fame and family in this action packed adventure for the whole family. My girls really enjoyed this movie. They have watched it several times and just love the talking monkeys. They think it is funny and it keeps them entertained. I love the family dynamics involved in this movie and how it really focuses on the importance of family. This movie did not only entertain my kids, but I enjoyed it as well. It is heartwarming and fun for the whole family! If you are looking for a great family movie to add to your collection this is a must have! Kids and adults of all ages will enjoy Monkey Up!
