I always love getting new household appliances for my home. Some of the smaller ones are used most often. Recently my rice cooker stopped working so I have been on the lookout for another. I was pretty excited to get to test out and review the Midea 3 Cup Rice Cooker and Steamer. We had used our current rice cooker for 9 years fairly regularly and when it went out I was pretty upset. This one is super nice and easy to use! It is good for cooking rice, making stews and oatmeal and steaming your veggies! It has a nonstick inner pot that comes out for easy cleaning. It also features a one touch power on button. You simply put your rice in with water and push it down and it perfectly cooks your rice every time! I just love it! It has a 3 cup capacity which is perfect for my family. I love steaming our veggies for dinner in this too! It has gotten so much use in the short time we have had it and I already know it will last and get plenty of use! It has a nice design that makes it perfect for any kitchen as well! This is definitely a must have for any kitchen! The other Midea product I got to try out was the Midea Double Wall CoolTouch Electric Kettle. This was something I honestly never thought I would have a need for or ever want for my kitchen but it has proved to be an amazing addition to it! With my kids back in school they need quick breakfasts and like having a snack after school. This heats up water for their oatmeal in the mornings super quick! We have also heated water for their cup o noodles and such after school too! It has a double insulated wall so it stays hot on the inside and cool to the touch on the outside. It has a base that rotates 360 degrees which is handy and boils your water super fast! Once it is boiled it automatically turns off which is another great feature. The lid features a one touch lid so it opens to add water easily. This Double Wall CoolTouch Electric Kettle has been a life saver! It has saved so much time and made preparing meals easy! I recently rescued a kitten that couldn’t regulate his heat and used this to heat water for my hot water bottles to keep him warm at night. It worked like a charm and cut my preparation time in half! With the colder fall and winter months approaching I look forward to keeping hot water for our apple cider and hot cocoa! With this I know we will always be prepared! These are both great household products and would make great gifts for yourself or your loved ones this holiday season! I highly recommend them!
