I had the pleasure of receiving an I See Me! special 15th Anniversary Edition of My Very Own Name book for review. It is written by Maia Haag and beautifully illustrated by Mark Mille. I have three kids so it was hard to pick who I wanted this book to be for so I decided on getting it for my niece Kiera for a special Easter gift. The front has a dedication to her with her name, birthday, picture and a personalized message from me, her Auntie. The book has cute animals that talk about coming up with the perfect name for my niece when she was born. Each animal that starts with letters of her name feature each letter. A koala starts with K, followed by an iguana for I, an elephant for E, a rhinoceros for R and finally an alligator for A. Then for her last name a squirrel is for S, a caterpillar for C, a hyena for H, a unicorn for U, a ladybug for L, a tiger for T and finally a zebra for Z. The end of the book has a cute animal encyclopedia and a letter to my niece about how special her name is. This book is great for kids. They get to see, recognize and learn to spell their own name. They are personalized which makes them even more special for the child. These books make great gifts for Easter and any other holiday or special occasion. I absolutely love I See Me! and highly recommend them if you are looking for a special gift for a special little one in your life! They have so many great gifts like lunchboxes, puzzles, growth charts, etc to choose from!
