When we got our set it was very easy to set up. We used it in the kids room, the whole night light thing, they sleep with the bathroom light on, or they get scared of the dark, with the sensor light it has made everything so much easier. My 5 year old learned how to use it, in the matter of seconds, probably helps we have one like it in the hallway. My neighbor helped me hook it all up, and was ready when he got home from daycare. Now we don’t need the bathroom light on. Sensor’d it to go off with movement, and shut down after the movement stopped in the room. So when one moves in their sleep it goes off, and lets me know if they are awake, or having bad dreams. The automatic of the Maestro occupancy/vacancy sensor makes life so much easier, makes you want to install them all over your house, so you will never need to switch a switch again. They make these in varies of colors to match your wall colors, which is very neat and awesome. Since we installed ours I haven’t had to change a bulb in the bathroom or kids room in ages, its been very nice. They have two models available, one version for small rooms and one for large rooms, priced at $29 and $41.50. These are available at home improvement centers, lighting showrooms, electrical distributors, online retailers and Lutron.

My biggest pet peeve is finding a way to safely dispose of old bulbs.
I use LED lighting. Plus I have installed timers on my water heater.
Be mindful of what lights are on and it they are truly needed. Turn thermostat up when not home.
I try to buy energy efficient appliances. I think that’s the best way to save in the long run!
We use LED lights.
I use a programmable thermostat to make sure I don’t waste energy by heating or cooling the house when nobody is home.
don’t leave the lights turned on when no one is in that room
I don’t like when bulbs blow out much sooner than they should.
LED light bulbs, long term savings!
My energy saving tip is to use a programmable thermostat and set it at the highest (a/c) or lowest (heat) setting for both day and night that you are comfortable with.
