This digital screen, button pushing, beeping humidifier has come in handy more times than I can count. We have not had a break from sickness since December 28th. It has been circling the house ever since and still has. The tank holds about a gallon of water. You have two awesome options hot and cold for the humidity that comes out of it, great for when your little ones cough until they vomit, ugh I am tired of that moment.
They only thing I don’t favor in this unit, is it beeps non stop telling you the water is low, so if you have little one’s who don’t sleep like a rock you have to learn how long each level can go for until it starts up. Has 3 levels and two seems to be one I favor the most you get like 6 hours on warm, and 7 hours on cold. Anything more or less you get less time. The screen is all digital, and the buttons are easy to learn so you don’t have to use a light in the middle of the night, since it has a blue LED light on the numbers.
The tank comes out super easy, and has a very strong durable handle on the top. There is no filter in the base of it, and has a white one in the part you screw off, to fill up the tank. However you will never need to replace it, if you use filtered water. You can also buy some that liquid vicks vapor and pour it into the unit with the water to make the steam open up the kiddo’s nose and lungs. It works better right next to the little ones, or placed in your home, so the steam can reach them. You have a high to a low setting so you can judge what they need. Also my absolute favorite part is that when it gets knocked over or played with (my special needs son, loves to push buttons) it won’t break at all, and we have gone through so many of these that way, and this one has made it through countless times from Malakai taking it apart.
