About Them: Mike Tsai, a successful entrepreneur, founded Salutron Inc., in 1995. He was inspired by the memory of a friend he lost to a sudden heart attack. Realizing that even a seemingly healthy man could succumb to heart disease, Mike wanted to spread knowledge and provide tools for a healthy life. With the help of an engineer friend familiar with ECG technology, Mike started the company and began working on heart rate monitoring technology that could be used by everyone.Health and fitness is more than activity. It’s also about the environment and people around you. That’s why LifeTrak Brite R450 includes LightTrak, Notifications, SleepTrak 2.0, as well as LifeTrak’s accurate ECG heart rate and activity tracking.
This is a really neat watch, if you sync it to your phone, you can track your sleeping, calories, steps, and more through the app from the watch. You can also set it up where it would bring notifications to your watch, when you’re not near your phone. But in my case it blows up a hundred times a day so I had to turn it off. Randomly through the day it will tell you get more or less light. If you sit for to long it will tell you to get up and do some walking. Also tracks how many hours you been up since morning. The heart rate is cool push the middle silver button in and hold, and tracks up to three daily. I am not much of a watch person, but I haven’t even taken it off since I got it, and I feel naked without it. I usually get about 10,000-30,000 steps a day, and its fun trying to beat your score. Comes in pink and white for woman, and black and gray for men.
