We have owned a couple toys from The Learning Journey in the past so I was pretty excited to receive a couple new ones for review and to include in our Holiday Gift Guide this year. As a parent, it is important that the toys my kids play with are both entertaining and educational and The Learning Journey has a vast selection of toys that do both. The first of the toys we received is the ABC Melody Maker. This one is for ages 3 and up and has five interactive activities. It also comes with a little songbook. This toys activities include teaching Letter and Numbers, Letter and Number Orders, Music and Sounds, has a Find It! Game and a Follow Me Game. It has tons of fun buttons for kids to push including an alphabet keyboard and a music and number combination keyboard to play games and music. My kids love this toy! At first I have to say I thought it was too loud, but then we found the volume control on the side and all was good! It has a dial to select what activity your kids want to play, the volume control and it is lightweight which is nice. My daughter who is four loves to take this with us everywhere we go. It has quickly become her favorite toy. My son who is only a year and a half is already picking up on letters and numbers too from playing with this toy with his sister which is awesome. The next toy is the Count & Learn Cookie Jar. I have seen this toy for a few years and kept wanting to buy it but never had the opportunity to so I was pretty excited about it. I was right in wanting it too because all three of my kids love it! It comes with a talking Cookie Jar and 10 Cookies with the numbers on them. It has two modes of play which include a Find It! mode and a Let’s Learn Counting! mode. The find it mode is where the kids find the number on the cookie that the cookie jar asks for. With the counting mode your child puts the right amount of cookies into the cookie jar. It has fun phrases and sound effects and all my kids love it. It also has an auto shut off feature which is nice when your kids aren’t playing with it and all the cookies fit into the cookie jar for easy and neat storage. These are both awesome toys and I highly recommend both of them. The Learning Journey has many great toys that will be perfect for your little ones this holiday season!

Disclosure: I received these products for free, in exchange for my honest review, which may differ from yours. Regardless, I only recommend products and services I used personally, and believe will be a good fit for consumers.
