We have already had some 80 and almost 90 degree weather and Summer is not even upon us yet. I do not have ac and my home turns into a hot humid furnace on these hot days. I have owned several fans and some just push the warm air around or just aren’t strong enough to really make a difference. I was excited to give the Lasko Pro-Performance Pivoting Utility Fan a try so was happy to receive it to review and to include in our Summer Gift Guide! At first glance this fan looks like a kennel blow dryer but it is so much more! It is well made and very sturdy. I have kids and critters and am always having to worry about them knocking over my tower fans. I am excited to say I do not have to worry about that at all with this one. It stays put and can not be knocked over which is a great feature to me in my home. The blower part pivots which is awesome! You can face it to direct the air wherever you need it most. This feature is amazing! I love using it when I workout because I can have it blowing right on me when I am on the ground or facing up at me while I am standing upright. It is also great to have facing up towards the couch, table, bed or wherever else you are. It also has three speeds. They all blow air extremely well but having a setting that goes from 0(off) to 3(highest setting) is a perfect way to meet your needs at any given time. The other thing I really love about this fan is that it has two outlets on the side. This is a perfect way to keep your wall outlets free. I absolutely love this fan and have used it every day when we have had the hot weather. The difference from before using this fan and after is like day and night. It keeps my living room so much cooler and much more comfortable during the day when it is hot. It also seems to keep my room well ventilated at night when I put it on the lowest setting. This Lasko Pro-Performance Pivoting Utility Fan is an awesome fan that is great for Cooling, Ventilating, Exhausting and Drying things as well! It is the perfect way to keep cool during these warm Summer months and would make a great 4th of July Gift as well!
