Every year my kids and I try our best to give back to the community in one way or another. This year we decided to help the homeless in a couple areas in surrounding cities. We gathered coats, jackets, blankets and made care packages to deliver. We also made sure some of the homeless teens got a special gift for christmas and prepared hot meals to them. All this aside I was looking for a way to help even more. The shelters are crowded right now so a lot of the homeless just hang out in sheds and such outside the shelter. I wanted to find a way to help keep them warm and with the help of Lasko, we were able to do that! I received a nice Lasko Bladeless Ceramic Heater to review and include in our Holiday Gift Guide this year. I also spoke with a few of the workers at one of the most crowded shelters local to us and they agreed to allow us to plug in this heater in one of the outbuildings for the homeless. This was a huge blessing and I was so happy that Lasko was able to help out the community! This heater is nice too! It looks great and has an innovative and sleek design so would be a great addition to any home and it has an EZtouch control along with a nice remote control. It features an adjustable thermostat so you can control the temperature in the room it is in and has a long range heat projection which is also nice. This was also great for the homeless in the outbuilding because they didn’t all have to huddle around it to stay warm! It is quiet and has a nice oscillation. It doesn’t overheat and the outside stays cool to the touch so you, your kids or pets won’t get burned. The other nice feature it has is an 8 hour timer that will automatically turn the heater off after 8 hours. It is an awesome heater and would make a great gift to your loved ones this holiday season!
