My kids and I received the Laser Pegs Space Fighter Kit for review. It is geared for ages 5 and up and contains 102 pieces total. This specific set makes 16 models. These models are Space Fighter, All-Terrain Racer, Alien Rover Droid, Atomaton, Galactic Chicken, Hover Scooter, Hover Vehicle, Space Bug, Other Worldly Walker, Space Marine Troop Lander, The Lp Ionizer, Time Warp Generator, Trans-Dimensional Starfighter, Troop Ship Refueling Station, Zombie Ray Gun and a Tri-Pedian. My kids had an absolute blast building each and every one of these models! The first day we received it they played with them for hours! They get a lot of toys that they lose interest in pretty quickly but the Laser Pegs are not one of those toys. They have continued to play with them day in and day out. They like to build their models then play with them in the dark as well. They like to build the models in the manual as well as create their own unique models. The sound activated power base takes 3 AA batteries which are not included. You can use an AC adapter as well but we just used batteries. The instructions are easy to read and easy to follow. My 5 year old is a lego fanatic and she likes these Laser Pegs more than her beloved legos which says a lot! She loves building and light up things so the combination makes these pegs the perfect toys! I highly recommend them for any child that likes to build and engage in creative play. They are super fun for kids and adults! We will definitely be adding more Laser Pegs kits to our home!
