About them: It started out as just a hike, no different than countless others I’ve taken into the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Little did I know I was about to come up with a mountain of an idea: combine simple ingredients such as fruits and nuts to create a food product that’s tasty, wholesome, and convenient. Larabar was born.
My kids and I had the pleasure of receiving some Larabar Mini Bars for review. We received two 9.36 oz boxes that each contained 12 bars. There were 4 of each type of bars and they included Cherry Pie, Cashew Cookie and Apple Pie. Each bar is under 100 calories and they are filled with yummy fruit and nuts. They are dairy free, gluten free, vegan and kosher. The cashew one is the less sweet of the three. It is absolutely delicious if you like cashews as much as we do. The cherry pie one has a bit more of a tartness to it. You can definitely taste the cherries. It is also super delicious. My personal favorite hands down was the apple pie though. They are all great but the apple pie one has a cinnamon apple flavor that is to die for! These are all super dense and delicious. You can just taste the wholesome food in them. These are made with real food that is nutritious and good for you. I can actually read and understand everything that is on the label which is amazing. My kids love these as well! They went nuts for them! They make an excellent snack and a great part of your child’s school lunch! These Larabar Mini Bars are perfect for heading back to school!
