My kids and I had the pleasure of receiving a copy of Lady Lucy’s Quest for review. It is written by Karen Gross and Illustrated by Ji Woo Jasmine Shin and So Young Jang. The story is about a girl named Lucy. She desperately wants to become a Knight so must embark on a journey on her own to become one. Everyone thinks it is impossible but she pushes on towards her goal of becoming a Knight. Ultimately she succeeds and becomes a Knight. I love how empowering this book is for young kids everyone. It shows them that if they have a goal or a dream, that with hard work and endurance they can accomplish anything. This book is well written and has a lot of fun illustrations for kids. My girls just love this book. They have had me read it to them so many times that they pretty much have it memorized word for word. It is wonderfully written and illustrated and my kids and I are very pleased with it. It has made a great addition to our book collection!
