About them: I was inspired by my kids, as many parents are, and motivated by my own enlightenment about toxins. When my youngest son became interested in playing with my keys, I searched for non-toxic toy keys, but I never found anything that satisfied him. In my own “green evolution,” I found that I felt most comfortable with stainless steel for water bottles, sippy cups, food storage containers, etc. It made sense to me that metal toy keys, that my son was likely going to put into his mouth, should be non-toxic stainless steel. And thus, the concept for Kleynimals was born.
My son and I had the pleasure of receiving a set of Kleynimals Flatware for review. The set we received was the 3 Piece Kleynimals Arctic Friends Flatware set. It features Pippi the Polar Bear, Scout the Snowshoe Hare and Otto the Snowy Owl. The set came with one feeder spoon, one baby spoon and one fork and in a nice little gift-able muslin bag. These are made in the USA and out of stainless steel so they are super durable and will not rust or tarnish at all. They are so nice and I just love them! We have used everything from plastic, silicone and more for feeding my son, but these are by far my favorite utensils so far! The baby fork and spoon are both 5 inches long and the feeder spoon is 5.5 inches long. This is a perfect length to feed your little one and great for when they begin to self feed. The flatware is easy to handle and easy to clean. I love the little animals on the handles too! This is a great set for babies and toddlers and makes a great gift! These would be great for a baby shower, babies first birthday and even make a great Christmas gift this holiday season! These are so nice and we love our Flatware set!
