We picked out these Dane shoes for our special needs son, since he needs high top kind of shoes to help support his tiny feet, and help with support for walking at age 8. I like how these are slip on type of shoes, with a simple Velcro to keep them tight on the feet. The soles inside are soft and comfortable for the feet, and gives your toes some wiggle room around the sides. The tread on the bottom is thick and strong having them last forever on your child’s feet. There sizing isn’t like normal shoes sizing so it was hard to choose which size would work best since they don’t go by the regular normal shoe size, which is odd to me. These are rain and snow proof, you can simply walk in the rain or about an inch of snow and your feet will stay nice and dry.
We picked out these Tripp shoes for our 6-year-old son. These are size 8 pretty much the max size you can go in kids shoes on the site, and he normally wears size 3 in kids. These shoes barely fit on his feet. So if you have a kid that is built big and all muscle, make sure you pick out the right size, and the company will help you pick out the right size. My son loves these shoes and fits his feet nice and snug. He will get a few months out of these shoes. The tread is strong and durable making the shoes last for months on end.
