About them: In 2003 twin brothers Antony and Richard Joseph decided to join forces and launch Joseph Joseph with the goal of creating functional, problem-solving household products. Joseph Joseph started life relatively small with only a few products in its early collection. This collection included a number of kitchen items but there was one product that stood out; a simple glass chopping board. The functional, hygienic nature of the chopping board shifted the brothers’ focus onto designing everyday products with a core problem-solving approach.
I love to cook and bake and am always in the kitchen, especially during the busy holiday months. I have been needing some new kitchen gadgets for a while now so was pretty excited to receive a Joseph Joseph Nest 9 Plus. This is a 9 piece compact food preparation set that includes 5 measuring cups, 2 measuring bowls, 1 sieve and 1 strainer. They are all brightly colored and absolutely perfect for the kitchen! They are well made and I love that they all nest inside each other so they take up very little cupboard space. The large mixing bowl is a pretty light green and has a 4.8 quart capacity. The strainer is a dark green and 3.2 quart sized and super nice for pastas and such. The sieve is a light blue and has a super fine mesh. I love using this to rinse beans and rice! It is a 1.7 quart size sieve. The small mixing bowl is dark blue and is perfect for whisking eggs and such. It is great for pouring batters, gravies and more. It is a .5 quart sized bowl and has a nice pour spout lip that makes pouring easy. The measuring cups are 1 cup, 1/2 cup, 1/3 cup, 1/4 cup and 1 tablespoon/teaspoon combo. These all nest right inside each other and are beautifully colored. I love that the measuring cups have the amount of the cup engraved into the bottoms so they won’t come off with washings and after much use! This is an excellent set and I am very impressed with it! It has already been put to good use in my kitchen and I look forward to using it during the holidays this year!
