About them: Jelmar has been a growing, evolving company since its inception in 1949. Jelmar continued to grow over the decades, as family patriarch Manny passed the reins to his sons Arthur and Steven in 1980. During the early 1980s, Manny, Arthur and Steven were meeting with business partner Al Eicoff to develop a product that could serve as a complement to Tarn-X. A powerful lime and rust remover was developed. And after some struggles to find a name for the product, CLR® Calcium, Lime & Rust Remover was born.
Every year for the 4th of July our family has a huge family BBQ and firework show. It is huge and family and friends come from all over to enjoy it. Preparing for our gatherings can be time consuming, especially when it comes to cleaning patio furniture, the grill, tables and more. I recently received a 26 fl oz spray bottle of CLR Outdoor Furniture Cleaner and a 26 fl oz spray bottle CLR BBQ Grill Cleaner for review. I hadn’t even thought of using them until I went out and saw all the grime on our chairs and table from sitting out all winter. The grill was less than perfect and there was no way I could grill food on it in its condition. I started by spraying the BBQ Grill Cleaner all over the grate of the BBQ and using the Outdoor Furniture Cleaner on the table and chairs to let them soak a few minutes. After a couple minutes I wiped the cleaner off and to my amazement, the grill, table and chairs were clean! I didn’t have to scrub hard, the grime just wiped away. I honestly didn’t think my grill could get that clean and I love how the Furniture Cleaner can be used on hard surfaces and cloth. I was able to wash off the chairs themselves and the funk on the pads that go with them. I really love these two cleaners and definitely recommend them if you have some outdoor furniture to clean or need your grill cleaned for summer BBQs then these CLR Cleaners are the perfect ones to get the job done!
