Iron Chef America Review

About Them: IRON CHEF AMERICA (ICA) combines the spirit of competition, creativity and the art of cooking – whether you are a professional chef or an aspiring kitchen warrior – there is an Iron Chef that lives in us all. Based on Japan’s original TV series, the long-running American version of the cooking game show is produced by Food Network. ICA is a weekly culinary battle that pits chefs from near and far against one of its own Iron Chefs. With less than an hour on the clock, a panel of judges is asked to taste and decide “Whose Cuisine Will Reign Supreme?”.

Iron chef sent me 3 of their meals to take a test run at. If you watched the show then you would know about the company! We watched so many of the episodes super fun game show. After little stress with the delivery, it was sent to me in a Styrofoam box with them inside, they come to you frozen. Mine were on the edge and the bottoms were bending from the moisture. So when we got ours we tested out the sesame beef one which was amazing.

When you open the boxes from Iron Chef America everything is all done for you put the cooking part. This one had a bag of steak beef which was somewhat thin sliced, and you could see that it was good quality steak. These act as a stir fry style food, however my lack of cooking skills made it not. Then once the meat is brown, which they have step by steps with times on when to start the next bag. Then we added the veggies from the bag, and placed the rice in the microwave. While we waited for the rice, we added the veggies and stirred until they were all done, then the rice, which was very high quality rice, tasted to good. You can either add the rice to the pot or just place at the bottom and put this on the top.. These are pretty good meals that feed up to 4 people. The boxes you can either place in freezer or fridge and cook as is either way just fine. These are amazing and they are worth a try out, I liked them, my 3 year old couldn’t stop eating it, and my husband the picky man said it was alright, but hes a spicy man anyways!
