I had the pleasure of receiving a few different Holland House Cooking Wines for review. I never really use cooking wines very often except for right around the holidays. I received four 16 fl oz bottles. The first was Red Cooking Wine. I looked up quite a few recipes that I normally make but generally exclude the cooking wine and actually made them with it and the flavor was so much more bold! It really enhances the flavors and made the dishes so much more tasty than they were without the Red Cooking Wine. I used it in sauces, in my crock pot and added to my marinades and the flavor was amazing each and every time. The Marsala Cooking Wine was just as good! This one was a family favorite when I used it in soups and with my chicken dishes. Again, it enhanced the flavor and added a more bold taste to each meal! The last was the White Cooking Wine. This was a delicious addition to my chicken and gave it an amazing flavor. I used this with fish and chicken a lot. I also used it when cooking my vegetables. The Sherry Cooking Wine has been very enjoyable as well. I am very pleased with how much different everyday meals were enhanced with all these Cooking Wines. It brought a whole new way of cooking into my home and I could not be more pleased with these Cooking Wines! These will be great for all my baking this holiday season! I tried a few Holland House Recipes and they were absolutely fantastic. If you are looking to add a bold new flavor to your food or try some new recipes then I definitely recommend Holland House Cooking Wines. They will make great additions to your Thanksgiving and Christmas meals!
