My kids and I had the pleasure of receiving a copy of Santa’s Apprentice & The Magic Snowflake Double Feature on DVD. These are both animated films. Santa’s Apprentice has a feature running time of 71 minutes and is about Santa having to retire. Before he retires he must train his Apprentice to take his place. His replacement is an orphan named Nicholas. He must not only prove to himself he is worthy of becoming the next Santa, but must also prove himself to Santa before he can retire. My girls have already watched this movie twice because they love it so much. It has gotten them even more excited about Christmas. This is a cute and entertaining animated movie that is great for the whole family. The next one is The Magic Snowflake. It has a feature running time of 73 minutes and is also animated. This is a sequel to Santa’s Apprentice. The 7 year old boy Nicholas has taken on the role of Santa but is faced with a challenge when the magic of Christmas seems to be fading. He thinks it is because he isn’t an adult and gets a case of Grown-up-itis. The council relieves him of his duties as Santa and to get his job back he must regain his innocence and attitude of his childhood. This is a great movie and my kids just loved it. They really enjoyed both of these movies and we are so happy to have them as part of our Holiday movie collection. These are perfect movies for this time of year. This Double Feature came out on DVD on November 1st so you can bring home your copy today! This would make a great stocking stuffer or gift for your little ones this holiday!
