Happy Holidays, Garfield!

About them: Kids and parents can join Garfield, the quick-witted orange tabby that loves lasagna, coffee, and his remote control, this holiday season as he celebrates Thanksgiving and Christmas in “HAPPY HOLIDAYS GARFIELD.

My kids and I love Garfield so we were pretty excited to receive a DVD copy of Happy Holidays, Garfield! for review and to include in our Holiday Gift Guide this year! Happy Holidays, Garfield! has a feature running time of 50 minutes and includes to holiday tales. These include Garfield’s Thanksgiving and A Garfield Christmas Special. Garfield’s Thanksgiving takes place when Jon takes Garfield to the vet and the vet tells Jon that Garfield needs to diet. Jon then invites her to his house for Thanksgiving at their house with him, Garfield and Odie. We discover that Jon has no idea how to navigate himself in the kitchen much less make an entire Thanksgiving meal. A Garfield Christmas Special is a heartwarming story about all the family coming for the Holidays. Grandma expresses to Garfield how lonely she has been since Grandpa passed away. When Garfield finds love letters from Grandpa to Grandma, he gives them to her for Christmas, making it a special time for all of them. Garfield realizes then that the holidays aren’t about eating lasagna and getting gifts, but it is about spending time with those you love through the holidays. My girls and I adore this DVD and are so happy to include it in our Holiday movie collection. It came out in September so you can get it in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas! This would make a great stocking stuffer!

Disclosure: I received this product for free, in exchange for my honest review, which may differ from yours. Regardless, I only recommend products and services I used personally, and believe will be a good fit for consumers.
