I had the opportunity to receive a Haakaa Silicone Breast Pump & Flower Stopper to try out and review and I was pretty excited since I had never seen a breast pump with this design before. I have pretty much been breastfeeding for the last 8 years between all three of my kids so I have gone thru a fair share of breast pumps. Ok so my first impression was that there was absolutely no way this pump could possible work but I could not have been more wrong! It is seriously the most simple design ever. It is one piece and made with silicone. You just place it over your breast and nipple and gently squeeze the sides of the silicone. If you do quick squeezes you can stimulate a let down and can adjust your flow from their with how you squeeze the silicone. It works and is super effective! You can use the flower stopper to put in the top to seal the milk inside which is nice. It is easy to use and easy to clean too. It is BPA free, small portable and super convenient and I think a must have for any diaper bag! It holds 5.4 ounces so if you are a milk factory like me I do recommend bringing breast milk storage bags as well when you are out and about. It is a great design and I am only upset that I didn’t know about it before!
