About DVD: Inside a snowflake exists the magical land of Whoville. In Whoville, live the Whos, an almost mutated sort of munchkinlike people. All the Whos love Christmas, yet just outside of their beloved Whoville lives the Grinch. The Grinch is a nasty creature that hates Christmas, and plots to steal it away from the Whos which he equally abhors. Yet a small child, Cindy Lou Who, decides to try befriend the Grinch. This movie came out in 2000, and sure does make me feel really old now. This is my favorite movie ever in the kids movie area. Such a sad, happy, odd, weird movie in one. All because of a little girl who made the Grinch from in the cave come to town and feel loved finally near the end of the movie. Everyone in the town were all terrified of this Grinch (Jim Carry) because of who he was. The movie is really adorable even though the people look a bit odd, but that’s Dr Seuss for you, that was his kind of style. My 5-year-old wasn’t too much fan of the movie, however my 8-year-old was cracking up many times throughout the movie.
