About them: “Goldie & Bear” is a fairytale-inspired Disney Junior animated series that premiered in September 2015. The series follows the adventures of Goldie and her newfound best friend Bear following the renowned porridge incident of “Goldilocks and The Three Bears.” Well-known characters from fairy tales, folk tales and nursery rhymes can be seen in the series, including Humpty Dumpty, Little Red Riding Hood, the Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf, who is often referred to simply as “Big Bad.”
My kids and I had the pleasure of receiving a DVD copy of Disney Goldie & Bear: Best Fairytale Friends to review. It is 168 minutes long and has 7 episodes that include The Birthday Chair/Big Bear, Fee Fi Fo Shoe/Little Gold Riding Hood, Bear’s Red Shoes/Goose Sitters, Moon Jump/The Big Good Wolf, Pinocchio-itis/The Clubhouse That Jack Built, The Egg/Golden Kickball, and Thumbelina’s Wild Ride/Big Bad Houseguest. It also came with a free Playtime Fun Set that had stickers and a board to put them on, a maze and coloring sheet. My girls absolutely love watching Goldie & Bear on Disney Junior so were extremely happy to get some of their favorite episodes on DVD. In each episode Goldie & Bear go on fun and exciting adventures. They laugh, play and learn valuable life lessons in each episode. My kids love it and have watched it again and again. I love how it teaches my kids the importance of friendship and life lessons. Each episode contains all your favorite fairytale and nursery rhyme characters which adds to it. Goldie & Bear came out on DVD on April 19th and I highly recommend adding it to your kids collection. My girls love owning it and I am sure your kids will enjoy it too!
