Great American’s response was to sew gold linen reinforcing yarn into the Gold Toe of its socks and thus an iconic American brand was born, the Gold Toe brand.
These gold toe socks are super comfortable and enjoyable. I love how soft they feel on your feet. I got a pair for me, and one set for my husband as he wears gold toe’s already! I myself have a hard time wearing socks, because it makes my body temp messed up.. I really have tried every sock in the work with breathable area’s and nothing ever seems to work. My body will get so cold, and I will sweat up a storm, and then I have to remove the socks to go back to normal. These socks above work for me, for a short period of time, which is farther than I’ve ever gotten. I like how soft they are, and how comfortable they feel. I also like how they aren’t to thick so I can wear flats with them! My husband got the second pair, which company swamped out with another one much like it. He said they are tight at first, but once you wear them a few times they get much better feeling on the feet. The threading is great, the gray indicators are a nice touch. We’ve tried gold toe many times in the past and they always last forever, even when used a lot. I like how even after a year and a million washes they are still in one piece vs the other pair he has with a different company for the same amount of time.
