My girls and I had the pleasure of receiving a Girl Scouts Cookie Oven for review. It comes with a baking pan, a spatula, a measuring tool, the oven, and a starter mix to make 6 Thin Mints Cookies. I love that you can pull this right out of the box, plug it in and let your kids begin to bake Cookies. My girls absolutely love helping me bake in the kitchen. They also love cookies so this was a perfect toy for them! It is super easy to use. You just follow the instructions. Allow your Girl Scouts Cookie Oven to heat up and while you are doing that mix your mix up and scoop them onto the provided baking pan. Once the oven is preheated you just slide the mix into the oven and slide them over to bake. After you leave it in to cook for the amount of time needed, you carefully slide it over to the cooling area of the oven. The spatula has a grip handle thing on the other side of it to grab the baking pan so after it cools you can use that to take the cookies out. The tray on top is a warming tray and works great for melting the coating and top for your cookies. I did find that it took a bit longer than the instructions said but my girls had a blast baking regardless!
They have many different refill kits which include Thin Mints, Chocolate PB, Caramel Coconut, Trefoils, PB Sandwich Cookies and more. My girls got a refill of Caramel Coconut Cookie mix, Thin Mints Cookie mix and PB Sandwiches. My girls enjoyed making each and every one of these as well and they taste great! The oven cooks them absolutely perfect each time! This has kept my girls busy for hours on hours and we are just waiting on our order of more mixes to continue using this Girl Scouts Cookie Oven. I love that this is not only an educational toy that teaches my girls to use measurements, bake and to use proper safety in the kitchen but it is fun and interactive for both of my kids and myself. My kids just love being able to make dessert for everyone! This Girl Scouts Cookie Oven and all the stuff included is all super easy to clean which is nice too. This toy is great. If you are looking for a fun, interactive toy with tasty treats as a bonus then this may be the perfect toy for your kids! My kids and I love it and highly recommend it.
