I have been on a mission to find toys for my kids for Christmas that are both fun and educational. When I had the opportunity to review the GeoSafari Jr. Talking Microscope I was pretty excited and knew right away it would be a great gift this holiday season for my kids! It is for ages 4 and up and requires three AAA batteries to operate. These are not included so its a good idea to include some for your little ones if you want to get one for them for Christmas. It is best for kids from ages 4 to 7 years which was perfect for my girls who are 5 and 7 years old. This toy is awesome and helps teach your kids through the support of STEM. It is a talking microscope that uses the voice of Bindi Irwin and has some really high quality images of animals, every day items, plants and more. The audio goes with the pictures and gives your kids tons of fun and educational facts. There are 20 slides total with three pictures on each giving you 60 images total and over 100 facts and questions so it provides hours of entertainment and learning. It features two comfortable eye pieces for your children and 5x magnification through each of the lenses. It also has four different languages to choose from and both a quiz mode and a fact mode. All the slides fit right inside the microscope which is nice for keeping them all together when your kids are done playing with it! My kids love this toy and they have learned quite a bit from it! They like to quiz each other with the facts they have learned and have not yet tired of this Talking Microscope which is awesome! I definitely want to get one for my niece for Christmas now too because I know she will love it as well! This is a great gift for your kids this Christmas and I definitely recommend it!
