My daughter is absolutely obsessed with bugs. She loves catching them to study them and then release them. Over the years I have bought a lot of bug viewing stuff for her to support her love for bugs but they are cheap and break or end up ultimately killing the bugs which she doesn’t like. I was super excited to received this GeoSafari Jr. Bug Vac ‘N’ View from Educational Insights to review and my daughter was even more thrilled. It takes three AAA batteries for the vacuum part to work. It comes with the vacuum that is in the shape of a frog, a bug observation guide and 2 insect collection chambers. The vacuum gently sucks up the bug and deposits it into the viewing chamber. The viewing chamber can then be removed to view your insect up close and personal. Each of the two chambers has air holes and built in magnifiers which makes viewing and studying your bugs easy. After your kiddo is finished they can open the viewing chambers and release the bug back to its natural habitat. This is the safest bug vacuum we have ever used with the fewest casualties which my daughter appreciates very much. I love that this toy supports STEM learning and helps with my daughters love for bugs. This is a great toy for your little science lover and we just love it! I definitely recommend it!
