GAIAM is one my favorite companies. They offer such a wide variety of products for all sorts of things a person would need for yoga, fitness, or for home. This time around I got the Restore Dual Zone Back Roller. This is a great little roller I must say. After going through shoulder surgery back in April, I have been using anything around the house to get the blood flowing back into it as soon as I can so the pain will go away. This little roller has made my shoulder, my spine and my back a much happier person. It does take a bit of time to get used to, you do need space to stretch the body out, and a good yoga mat or flooring for this. Carpet didn’t seem to work so well, and hardwood it just slipped a lot. You need some good gripping floor or mat. Once I got the hang of it, and it started benefiting me I felt much better. This roller is very light weight, fits in the both hands perfectly, the little knobs on it, helps pin point your knots in your back to feel better and your well on your way to feeling better. I actually get shots in my spine for the arthritis I have in my spine, from the blocks I got from having 2 c-sections, and deal with constant back all the time, and can be quite annoying at times. This little dual back roller has been a saint for sure. It maybe small, but it does the trick.
