Frownies Review

About Them: Frownies were created in 1889 after Margaret Kroesen discovered that her daughter Alice, a concert pianist, had developed unsightly wrinkles and frown lines. With a desire to maintain her youthful beauty and stage presence, Mrs. Kroesen created Wrinkle Eradicators (as they were first called) by employing the basic principle of fitness to the muscles of the face. At the time, there was no thought of producing them for anyone else but herself and her daughter. But Alice, after using her mother’s amazing invention, was a living testimony, and it became clear that women and men everywhere could benefit from these Wrinkle Eradicators.

Frownies was fun to review again. Last time I got their face lift kit, this time around I got sunscreen. I got the eye gels in the wantable monthly box so I thought I would add it to this review! This sunscreen is all natural and can be used under makeup or as is. This has green tea extracts, Organic oat oil, Aloe Vera gel, Melanin and calming coconut oil in it which are all great natural ingredients I must say.  It’s hard for myself to put this stuff on, since in our state we rarely seen the sun maybe 2 days to 2 months a year at over 80 degree’s. We just had our hottest day so far yesterday sitting at almost 90 degree’s it felt amazing. So when we do get that sun, our bodies tend to burn or tan faster vs others in states that see it more. This bottle smells great, wipes on easily, it doesn’t feel greasy at all. Lasted me about 4 hours without water hitting it, and about 2.5 hours with swimming, though my immune system acts differently because my genetic disorder. I like how you only need like a size of a quarter and will cover face, neck and arms. This has an open and closed lid on top so you wont worry if it comes undone in the bag and spew everywhere, I have had that happen way to much. I love the smell. It’s so smooth and coconut smell like, better than the other sunscreen smell right!

The eye gel pads were a bit different and something that would be great to use before bedtime. Being a mom, with two toddlers and not enough sleep in mind. My eye’s could use some TLC, I know any mom out their who lacks the sleep would love these. Just put the pads on under the eye, for time allowed, let the formula used in the pads soak into your skin around the eye’s. Then when you take them off, you will feel some left over on the skin, I just rubbed the left over’s in. I love how these sit in a flat envelope for easy store away storage when time to use again!
