I absolutely love classic toys. They bring me back my childhood and I just love being able to share toys from when I was a kid with my kids now that I am a mom. The Fisher Price Play Tape Recorder was a toy I had when I was little and I spent countless hours playing with it. I have a lot of fond memories and lots of family pictures where I have my Play Tape Recorder with me. When I saw that it came back again as a Classic Toy I was elated! It takes three AA batteries and they are not included. It is for ages 3 and up but even my son loves it at a year and a half. It is extremely well made and loads of fun. It comes with a cassette with built in music so you and your littles can sing along, just listen to the music and dance to the beat if you want. You kids can use the microphone to sing into and jam all day long. Side one of the cassette plays Humpty Dumpty, London Bridge Is Falling Down, and Farmer In The Dell. Side 2 plays Twinkle Twinkle, Hickory Dickory Dock and Jack and Jill. Your kiddo can even record their own voice which my kids just love. This is a great toy for kids and has been a perfect way to walk down memory lane for me. My kids love it and I am very happy with it. If you are looking for a nice Classic Toy then this Play Tape Recorder is the one for you! This will make a great gift under the tree this holiday season for your littles!

Can you play regular “vintage” cassette tapes on this? I loved mine when I was a kid!
