It will beep to let you know it needs to be emptied or push it down. It can shred paper, cards, and CD’s just fine as well. You can put 12 sheets of thin paper in it, and will shred them in under 5 minutes, but I was able to in under a minute. Its quick, fast, not to loud, easy to manage, it’s thin so it stores away against a wall nicely, away from your walking area. Its a nice shredder and works great for any paper, newspaper, and more.
