I had the opportunity to try out the Fellowes Powershred M-12C shredder. I have used quite a few shredders over the years, working in offices and such and this one is by far one of the best ones I have ever had the pleasure of using. It is well built. It is nice and sturdy and doesn’t tip over. It can shred up to 12 papers at once without jamming up or stopping at all and even has shredded old credit cards with ease. This shredder runs up to five minutes without stopping before it has to cool down and even then it doesn’t take more than a minute before it is cool and ready to go again! It has a nice easy to get to storage bin that just slides out. This keeps all the shredded paper contained and makes it super easy to recycle! I also love that it will automatically stop shredding and is disabled when hands get too close! I have three kids that are all young and keeping their little hands and fingers safe is always a concern around shredders. This feature makes me confident that my kids can be around while I am shredding and be safe too. Naturally I still teach them not to put their hands near it, but they are kids and so this is a very important safety feature for my home. This shredder is fast, easy to use, has amazing safety features and cuts papers up into small pieces to protect personal information. I can not really express how nice this shredder truly is so you will definitely have to try it out for yourself! This would make a great gift this holiday season!
