Sure Feed Sealed Pet Bowl

About them: After experiencing first-hand the unpleasant consequences of unwanted neighborhood cats entering his home through the cat door and terrorizing his cat Flipper, Dr Nick Hill, a Cambridge physicist, set out to find a solution. He knew he didn’’t want Flipper to wear a collar, so he developed a revolutionary technology that uses a cat’’s existing microchip like an electronic door key, giving Flipper exclusive access to his home and leaving intruder animals at the door. After three years of intensive research and development, the SureFlap® brand was born.

When I first had the opportunity to try out the Sure Feed Sealed Pet Bowl I was a bit skeptical that it would work as well as it said it would. After receiving it for review and using it the last month I can tell you that it works great! It comes with the Sure Feed Sealed Pet Bowl and instructions for use. Using it is easy. You just put four C batteries in it and it is ready to go. These batteries are not included but they will last about 6 months with daily use of the bowl. It  also has a low battery indicator so you will know when it is time to change out the batteries. The dish itself is pretty nice. It can fit a pretty nice scoop of dry food or up to two pouches of wet food. The food goes into the bowl and the motion activated lid goes over the top to keep the food fresh and from drying out. When your pet approaches the lid will automatically open so your pet can eat. It doesn’t come back down until your critter is done and has been gone. Once it senses no more movement, it will close to save the remaining food. It keeps the food fresh, the smell contained and keeps flies and other unwanted pests out and off your pets food. Cleaning this dish is a breeze too! Simply take out the bowl and wash it then return it to the unit. You can also buy different colored bowls if the grey one it comes with isn’t what you want or if you like to change things up a bit! It took my puppy a few days of being around the Sure Feed Sealed Pet Bowl to get used to it. It scared her at first but after she adjusted to it she loved it! I love it and cant wait to get another one for the semi feral outdoor cat I feed. This is a great bowl and I definitely recommend it for your cat or small dog!

Disclosure: I received this product for free, in exchange for my honest review, which may differ from yours. Regardless, I only recommend products and services I used personally, and believe will be a good fit for consumers.
