This is one of the two items the kids got for there fall line. This is a very simple, but yet very fun toy. Just has tracks, and the train. You do need to buy 4 AA batteries for it. The train has an off switch as well as quiet and loud sound setting. It also has 1/2 button setting for the train to go faster or slower. All you do is snap in the tracks, lock in the train and push the button on the top and watch it spin around, go upside, go forward and backwards. It also shuts off after about 5 runs through the track. The train is a bit difficult to lock into the track, and the tracks do need to be locked into place or the train can’t go around. Very fun, and can make tons of track designs for it. Make sure the wheels stay away from the ground so it can go.
This is great for 6 months to 3 years old. Has tons of adventures to do. Took me about half an hour to get it set up, since there is tons of screws that need to be placed throughout it. The purple octopus plays sounds, music, and talks. You can set this up long ways to let your little ones crawl through it, or set it up in a U shape. Comes with some balls, for the octopus and the yellow wheel in the back. Great for little ones learning to crawl and stand up. This toy helps reach milestones little ones face until about 1.5 years old. My 5-year-old, and 7-year-old had fun playing with it. We have many play dates so this will be fun to have around when I get snuggle baby loves. Nothing is to small, attached strong to the bases, so no worries about choking hazards on the toy itself. Both are great toddler and infant toys from Little Tikes.
